fast food nation
i bought this book a couple months ago, around christmas break 07, and im just now starting to read it. its amazing what you learn from this book. it shows you how fast food has transformed the country and the people who inhabit it. i plan on finishing it by next friday, its pretty hefty, around 288 pages not counting the photo credits, notes, bibliography, acknowledgements and the index.

so im at pleasant land taking the rest of the day off. i bought a peach italian soda, and im about to study for my biology final, and i plan on reading a little bit of fast food nation and maybe a manga. i like it here, good atmosphere, and free wifi! still kind of underground, not really popular yet, and i hope it stays that way.

Great book, I enjoyed the bonus chapter at the end. But the end of the manga itself wasn’t very clear. Did kazuto kill amahisa iraka? Will yomiko find the library? I guess I’ll find out next week when I do my ritual Monday borders trip....
